Armor layers are applied in the order given from outer most layer to inner most

Explanation There are 3 basic types of armour:
  • Light: fabric and leather of different origin, shape and stiffness. Subdivided in light hard (Ls) and light soft (Lh)
  • Medium (M): small plates or rings of metal, wood or bone with several gaps in between)
  • Heavy (H): shaped plates of metal, wood or bone with few gaps in between.)
  • In the above specification the armor points are encoded by repeating the type. E.g. MM means two armor points of medium armor, Ls is one level of light soft armor.
